What is the Peckham Low Carbon Zone? 

Funded by the Mayor of London, the Peckham Low Carbon Zone aims to reduce CO2 emissions in Peckham by

 bringing together residents, businesses and community groups todeliver a range of carbon and cost 

saving measures. 

Where is the Peckham Low Carbon Zone? 

The Peckham Low Carbon Zone is close to Peckham Library and Peckham High Street. 

It includes Bells Gardens Estate, Oliver Goldsmith Estate and some of the surrounding roads including Marmont Road, Furley Road, Goldsmiths Road and Staffordshire Street. 

What has been achieved? 

So far we have 

Improved the energy efficiency of Peckham Park Primary School and engaged pupils on issues around 

energy, water, recycling and biodiversity 

• Helped small businesses to reduce their energy bills through our green business support service 

• Launched a free green makeover service for Low Carbon Zone residents
